PRODUCT INFORMATION The Xonar 942 Shutter is certified by the Loss Prevention and Certification Board to LPS 1175 SR2, providing resistance to opportunist attempts at forced entry, using bodily physical force and a range of hand tools. The shutter also features our innovative Self-locking technology that eliminates the need for any auxiliary locking mechanisms and allows for external first point of entry. The shutter was finished in an aesthetic Black to complement the building’s architecture.
PROJECT DETAILS The 4,000sqm property was built as one of the core labs funded by the UK government for research on infrastructure and cities. The facility creates life-size environments such as railway stations or town squares, and can manipulate conditions such as light, sound, weather, profile, smells & more. With a number of expensive equipment stored inside, a research facility security measure was needed to prevent unauthorised access and theft.
