PRODUCT INFORMATION Offering a certified solution to low and medium-risk applications, Xonar 942 is a bolt-on security shutter with independent certification to LPS 1175 SR2. Xonar 942 has undergone extensive testing, with accreditation awarded by both the LPCB and Secured By Design (SBD). Its self-locking technology eliminates the requirement for auxiliary locking mechanisms anywhere on the shutter.
PROJECT DETAILS Located in the heart of Reading, this high-end residential complex was built from an existing office and retail block from the ’70s that had been left empty for a number of years. The car park and refuse storage area required a security shutter that met a number of requirements: certified to Secured by Design standards, offered perforation for natural light and airflow, and could withhold its security rating even with a large opening for refuse trucks to access for turning around due to limited space on the service road. Xonar 942 ticked all boxes!
