PRESENTING STACKDOOR AT SBD Training Event ATLAS 2019
Having achieved certification to LPS 1175: Issue 8, CGT Security attended the Secured By Design (SBD) Training Event to present Stackdoor to the SBD audience officially.
A two-day national training event, ‘ATLAS 2019’ was mainly focused on Designing Out Crime Officers (DOCOs) and Crime Prevention Officers (CPOs). The training events offered interactive workshop sessions, updates on Police Crime Prevention Initiatives and speeches from industry leaders. ATLAS 2019 also offered manufacturers the opportunity to exhibit, presenting their products directly the specifiers.
The opening address was conducted by Met Commissioner Cressida Dick to mark the 30th Anniversary of the event.
First security certified shutter with 80% free airflow
Stackdoor Secure has successfully achieved Security Rating (A1) of LPCB LPS 1175 Issue 8. This is the first security shutter featuring 80% free airflow to accomplish an independent security rating!
The Police Preferred Specification badge has also been awarded. Certification to LPS 1775 and the SBD badge are both recognised globally.

Stackdoor Secure is also the first security product to be tested and certified to the new regulations of Issue 8, which came into effect in January 2019. The most substantial revision of the certification to date, LPS 1175 Issue 8 seeks to improve the testing guidelines for security products.
The updated certification emphasises the realistic scope, seeking to provide comprehensive protection against a broader threat landscape.
