PRODUCT INFORMATION Vortex’s patented lath design allows the shutter to roll much more compactly and therefore creates smaller roll zones. This feature was highly useful for the buildings limited headroom. For this project, our Vortex Built-In shutter was integrated within the existing structure, creating a sleek and aesthetic finish. The result is a safe yet welcoming environment for the pavilion’s visitors.

PROJECT DETAILS The Claygate Pavilion is run by Claygate Recreation Ground Trust. The original building was burnt down (criminal damage) in 2016. A larger new Pavilion opened in 2021 after a massive fundraising effort.
The location of the Pavilion is quite secluded and there have been several occasions of vandals on site, so the pavilion’s security required reinforcement.
