BENEFITING FROM XONAR’S UNIQUE SELF-LOCKING TECHNOLOGY
Through extensive and ongoing investment into product R&D, Xonar Shutters have developed a unique self-locking technology that ensures the shutter can never be left insecure.
For a standard roller shutter, lifting is one of the significant vulnerabilities. Additional locks or the use of steel are conventional methods to combat this fault though these solutions leave much to be desired.
Secured against human fault and sabotage
Depending on the control system, a standard shutter curtain will not engage the locking mechanisms until ultimately deployed (closed). In the event of incomplete closure, any attempt to manually force the shutter open will result in compromised premises.
For security shutters with such self-locking capability, manual force or levering with the assistance of tools such as car jacks will have little to no effect. Attempts to lift the shutter in any position will fail, no matter the what position the shutter has been left in.
This technology eliminates the risk of both human error and fraud, a risk often faced by retail stores.
Where best to integrate self-locking technology?
Xonar’s self-locking technology is ideal for shutters implemented to secure the first point of entry.
Without the requirement for auxiliary locking mechanisms, applications such as retail stores or shop fronts are excellent contenders. With a substantial resilience on ‘window presentation’ – even when closed – for sales, the neater the finish, the better.
Which products offer self-locking technology?
Xonar certified product series, Xonar 800 Series and Xonar 900 Series, both feature self-locking technology as standard. Products within both the Xonar 600 Series and Xonar 700 Series include it as an additional option.
